Job summary

Applitrack is seeking an Instructional Assistant for a Special Education 1:1 role at Bentonville High School. Under direct supervision, you will assist a student with individualized needs, support instructional activities, and help implement IEP goals while coordinating with teachers and staff.

You will perform clerical tasks, help with data collection for behavior tracking, and participate in conferences and daily classroom routines to promote safety and learning.

Qualifications

• Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
• Ability to perform arithmetic operations to assist students.
• Ability to understand and use computer software (Word, Excel).
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information regarding students, employees and others.

Responsibilities

• Work with students individually and in small groups to reinforce learning.
• Assist with record-keeping to document student progress and behavior data.
• Support classroom behavior management and safety in the learning environment.
• Assist with non-instructional duties such as lunch, bus duty, playground, and study hall.
• Prepare and distribute educational materials; assist in IEP preparation and conferences.
