Responsibilities

• Engages students in classroom activities under supervising teacher to support learning objectives.
• Administers tests and homework to support teachers in the classroom.
• Assists students in both special and general education settings.
• Assists the teacher with scoring tests, records, and reports.
• Maintains classroom setup and integrates technology.
• Assists students with low vision and adaptive magnifying equipment.
• Supports basic student needs including self-care, hygiene, feeding, toileting, dressing, and transfers.
• Communicates with staff and parents to evaluate progress and implement IEP objectives.
• Implements behavioral plans under supervision and supports Positive Behavior Interventions.
