The School District of Lee County in Florida is hiring Special Education Elementary (ESE) Teachers to guide students toward their potential in a safe, supportive learning environment across Lee County's elementary, middle, and high schools for the 2026-2027 year. Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor's degree and a valid Florida teaching certificate.

Competenze

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Valid Florida teaching certificate or out-of-state teaching certificate covering appropriate area of responsibility.

Plan individually or cooperatively a program of study that meets students’ needs, interests, and abilities.
Assist in establishing curriculum objectives and develop plans for implementing and evaluating them.
Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to student maturity.
Guide learning toward curriculum goals with clear objectives for lessons and projects.
Employ instructional methods and materials appropriate to objectives.
Assess student progress and provide required reports.
Counsel with colleagues, students, and parents regularly.
Maintain records and reports as required by law and policy.
Use appropriate technology in teaching and the learning process.
