• Knowledge of HIPAA, Public Records, Sunshine Law, FERPA, and related privacy laws.
• Ability to use multiple project management tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Plan individually or cooperatively a program of study meeting diverse student needs.
• Assist in establishing department objectives and curriculum implementation plans.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to student maturity.
• Guide learning toward curriculum goals with clear objectives for lessons and projects.
• Employ instructional methods and materials to meet stated objectives.
• Assess student progress and provide reports as required.
• Diagnose learning strengths and weaknesses and consult district specialists.
• Counsel with colleagues, students, and parents regularly.
• Help implement district policies and maintain classroom order.
• Plan and supervise assignments for support staff and volunteers.
• Use technology in teaching and maintain accurate records.
• Adhere to ethics and district policy; participate in school improvement.
