Responsibilities

• Participate in transdisciplinary team meetings, annual reviews, conferences, and faculty meetings.
• Communicate frequently with parents and elicit input for educational planning.
• Collaborate to develop and modify IEP goals aligned with Illinois standards.
• Implement IEPs with appropriate teaching methods and adaptations.
• Use non-aversive behavior management and provide positive programming.
• Implement functional curriculum and related content areas.
• Design and maintain class schedules aligned to IEP goals.
• Monitor student progress and report outcomes on timelines.
