Job summary

Conroe Independent School District seeks a Special Education Aide/RISE to assist students with disabilities under the direction of a certified teacher. You will support daily activities, mobility, feeding, and personal care, while helping with instructional tasks and behavior management.

Responsibilities include IEP implementation, data collection, and participation in professional development. Must have a high school diploma or GED and obtain a Texas educational aide certificate within 30 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Texas educational aide certificate within 30 days of employment.
• Experience working with children, including those with disabilities.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with physical and instructional needs of students with disabilities.
• Support IEP implementation and behavior management.
• Help students in classroom, lunchroom, bus, and playground.
• Assist in RISE classroom under supervision of certified staff.
• Maintain confidentiality and participate in meetings/events as needed.
