Job summary

Qualifications

• Credentialed in Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe/Extensive Support Needs as required.
• Experience with IEP development, implementation, and case management.
• Knowledge of California Special Education requirements and processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized academic instruction based on individual student needs and IEP goals.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs while maintaining required documentation and compliance.
• Adapt curriculum, instruction, accommodations, and modifications to meet student needs.
• Monitor student progress and use data to guide instructional decisions.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, related-service providers, administrators, and families.
• Support students' academic, behavioral, functional, communication, and social-emotional development as appropriate to the assigned classroom.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
