Educational Alliance is seeking a full-time Social Worker to provide social work services to individuals and communities in need. The role supports clients facing neglect, abuse, mental health issues, and parental substance use within the CSYD program.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing care plans, maintaining thorough case files, and coordinating with educators and healthcare professionals. Strong communication and MS Office skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• NY State LMSW license is required.
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar social work role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate suspected abuse/neglect and ensure client safety.
• Assess needs to determine appropriate social work interventions.
• Develop and implement care plans for physical, emotional, and social well-being.
• Create case files and court reports adhering to legal standards.
• Enter data online into computer systems.
• Counsel individuals, families, and groups facing challenges.
• Coordinate services with psychologists, healthcare providers, and educators.
• Advocate for clients' rights and access to resources.
• Monitor interventions and adjust strategies as needed.
• Stay updated on best practices and guidelines.
