Job summary

LINC is seeking a Youth Services Advocate to support and empower young people by guiding them to access education, health, and social services.

You will build relationships with youth, families, and partners, manage cases with confidentiality, and organize workshops to promote positive youth development.

The Youth Services Advocate plays a critical role in supporting and empowering young individuals by providing guidance, resources, and advocacy to help them navigate challenges related to education, health, and social services. Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
• Experience working directly with youth populations in community, educational, or social service settings.
• Strong understanding of youth development principles and challenges faced by diverse youth populations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with youth and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with confidentiality standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related discipline.
• Certification or training in trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, or youth advocacy.
• Experience working with marginalized or at-risk youth populations, including those from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal resources and policies related to youth services.
• Proficiency in a second language commonly spoken by the community served.
