Job summary

Westview Care Center is seeking a Speech Therapist (SLP) to design and implement therapy programs that improve patients' communication and swallowing abilities. This role offers options for full-time, part-time, and PRN employment with competitive pay and full benefits in a supportive, in-house therapy team.

You will conduct screenings and diagnoses, develop individualized care plans, and deliver direct treatment while collaborating with residents and staff to promote optimal outcomes and growth.

Qualifications

• State licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Iowa or eligibility for board exams.
• Experience preferred but new grads and Clinical Fellows are considered.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and direct customized speech therapy programs.
• Provide counseling, prevention, and wellness strategies.
• Conduct screenings and diagnoses of communication and swallowing disorders.
• Deliver direct treatment to improve speech, language, and swallowing function.
