Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to impact residents and patients' lives. New grads and seasoned professionals accepted, with contract, locals or traveler options and permanent hires available.

Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders across ages; develop individualized plans; collaborate with doctors, nurses, and families; maintain documentation; enjoy flexible scheduling and travel stipends for travelers.

Qualifications

• Valid SLP license
• Ability to adapt quickly to different environments and patient needs
• Positive, patient-centered attitude with strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in patients of all ages.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to improve communication skills, cognitive function, and swallowing disorders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, nurses, and family members, to deliver comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic strategies for communication and speech improvement.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes as required.
