SeqMatic is seeking a Research Associate to join our single cell sequencing services team in Fremont. You will support nucleic acid purification, library preparation, and downstream analyses within a CLIA/CAP-certified environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on lab work with cell cultures, single-cell library prep, and collaboration with customers and colleagues to ensure high-quality results and timely delivery. A competitive salary, bonus, and medical/dental/vision benefits are provided.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in biology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or a related science.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience working with cell and tissue cultures.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience performing cell and nuclei isolations using manual and automated methods such as from Miltenyi gentleMACS.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience of single cell library preparation (10x Genomics, Parse Biosciences, Takara SmartSeq, etc.).
• To support our “Onsite-seq” offering, occasional travel within 50 miles of our Fremont lab will be required.
• Must be highly detail-oriented and have strong lab and analytical skills.
• Experience working in clinical lab setting is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines; accommodate a flexible schedule to support the workload ;
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the USA.

Responsabilidades

• Organize and maintain detailed experimental records and follow lab procedures
• Prepare cells and tissues using manual and automated protocols;
• Prepare sequencing libraries from single cells and nuclei using workflows from 10x Genomics and Parse Biosciences ;
• Operate other common laboratory equipment such as thermocyclers, qPCR machines, and benchtop centrifuges;
• Organize and maintain detailed experimental records and follow lab procedures;
• Communicate in person and electronically with customers and team members
