Job summary

Catholic Charities Eastern Washington is seeking a compassionate Operations Assistant to help manage Catalyst housing services for formerly homeless individuals and couples. You will support residents in following program expectations, engaging in services, and progressing toward independent housing.

Responsibilities include site safety, front desk duties, referrals to social services, data entry, and daily logging of activities.

Qualifications

• Education/experience requirements include a High School Diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated leadership and administrative skills are required.
• Ability to compassionately interact with homeless populations and those in need.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and security for residents, staff, and volunteers.
• Oversee shift operations, front desk tasks, mail, donations, and phones.
• Refer residents to social services and assist in coordinating services.
• Respond to complaints and document events in daily logs.
• Maintain databases and perform data entry for reports.
• Assist with housekeeping duties and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Communicate via email, text, and phone; follow mandated reporting rules.
• Support team productivity and uphold Catholic Charities mission.
