Job summary

Great Hearts Academies seeks an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to oversee speech-language services at the Blossom Rock campus in Apache Junction, AZ. The role involves screening, evaluating, diagnosing, and planning therapy within compliance with laws and ethical standards.

You will lead service delivery, collaborate with teachers and other staff, participate in IEP meetings, and supervise SLPAs while maintaining student confidentiality and ensuring program quality.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Two years of school-based experience preferred.
• ADE and ADHS certifications required.
• CCC from ASHA required.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and to collaborate with staff.
• Proficient in the use of technology.

Responsibilities

• Organizes a program addressing school speech-language goals.
• Attends meetings such as faculty meetings and parent-teacher conferences.
• Schedules interventions using multiple service delivery models.
• Collaborates with teachers and related service providers.
• Maintains confidentiality of student records.
• Provides supervision and training to SLPAs.
