Qualifications

• Hold valid certification from the Kentucky Education Professional Standards Board for School Psychologist.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, faculty and administrators.
• Experience collaborating with school and community professionals.
• Knowledge and implementation of RTI practices for academics and behavior.
• Ability to collect, analyze, and report student performance data.

Responsibilities

• Provide RTI leadership and data interpretation as part of the RTI team.
• Assist schools with RTI-Behavior best practices implementation.
• Serve on the multi-factored assessment team for children from preschool to grade twelve.
• Attend Admission and Release Committee meetings to discuss evaluation components.
• Lead problem-solving discussions to implement interventions for student success.
• Consult with special and general education teachers on IEPs and intervention plans.
• Contribute to crisis and behavior intervention plan development and evaluation.
• Provide ongoing training for parents, teachers, and aides in special education interventions.
• Participate in district crisis response activities and staff meetings.
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant literature, laws, policies, and regulations.
