Job summary

The Muscogee County School District is seeking a School Psychologist (Full Time) to support students across multiple schools in Columbus, GA. The role requires NCSP credentials and a Master’s in School Psychology, with experience not strictly required.

Collaboration with staff and families is essential to address special education needs. Responsibilities include administering assessments, writing reports, developing intervention plans, and providing counseling as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in School Psychology.
• National Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential; Service Certificate in School Psychology.
• Experience: None.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive service to multiple schools.
• Administers standardized and/or supplemental assessments to measure development and determine eligibility.
• Assesses students' functional capabilities and environment.
• Writes comprehensive psychological reports adhering to local guidelines.
• Develops behavior plans and interventions to address needs.
• Intervenes to modify student behavior and promote interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates ability to conduct individual and/or group counseling sessions.
