Job summary

Webster Public Schools is seeking two Long-Term Substitute Nurses (LPNs/RNs) to cover Park Ave Elementary and Bartlett High School in Webster, MA. This part-time position starts immediately with estimated dates through early 2027.

The role requires a current Massachusetts RN or LPN license, DESE certification or eligibility, CPR/AED certification, and a minimum of a bachelor’s degree. Prior school-nurse experience is preferred; citizenship or legal work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree
• Current license as a Massachusetts Registered Nurse or LPN
• DESE certified or eligible for certification
• Current CPR/AED certification
• At least 3 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required

Responsibilities

• Administer basic health care and first aid
• Provide direct services to students using current medical practice
• Care for students in compliance with school district policies and physician's orders
• Advise and collaborate with school personnel on health issues that may impact learning
