The role requires TX RN licensure, CPR, and vision/hearing screening certification, plus at least two years of nursing experience, preferably in community health, with a focus on confidentiality and safety.

Formación

• Two years nursing experience, preferably in community health.
• Texas RN license active and in good standing.
• CPR certification required.
• Vision and hearing screening certification required.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide health services to students and manage campus health program.
• Administer medications per district policy and procedures.
• Coordinate referrals with families and healthcare providers as needed.
• Conduct screenings and make referrals according to Texas guidelines.
• Maintain health records with confidentiality and accuracy.
• Supervise nurse aides and support staff in clinic procedures.
• Communicate health information to parents, staff, and administrators.
• Participate in health education and emergency response planning.
• Collaborate with physicians, parents, and the community on student health.
• Ensure compliance with district and state health policies.
