Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide health services to students during the school day.
• Establishes a weekly routine of visits to schools and coordinates health procedures.
• Trains staff for student health procedures and medication administration.
• Reviews immunization records and health history; develops an IHP and communicates health needs to staff.
• Conducts vision, hearing, scoliosis screenings and records results in health files.
• Counsels pregnant students per local board policy.
• Acts as health resource for school staff and liaison between parents, school and health community.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Health Services.
