Job summary

Woodridge Local School District is seeking a Bus Driver Substitute for Peninsula, Ohio. The substitute driver will transport students and staff on scheduled routes and field trips, perform pre-trip inspections, and ensure bus safety and cleanliness throughout the day.

Responsibilities include maintaining discipline, following district policies, reporting incidents, and coordinating with the Transportation Supervisor to ensure timely operation of all trips.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely drives a school bus on designated routes on school days per schedule.
• Transports students, teachers and others on field trips.
• Inspects bus daily before passenger transport to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Cleans and refuels bus as needed and ensures all safety devices work.
• Maintains records on routes, timings and incidents as required.
• Reports any incidents or maintenance needs promptly.
