Job summary

The Northwest School in Seattle, WA is seeking a 0.75 FTE Bus Driver for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time-feel role includes benefits and requires a Class B CDL with endorsements. You will transport students on school routes and field trips, perform basic vehicle checks, and coordinate with faculty on trip changes.

Ideal candidates will have a valid CDL, clean driving record, and the ability to work independently or with a team. Prior school-transport experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL Class B license with S, Air Brake and Passenger endorsements.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Transports passengers on scheduled routes and field trips safely and on time.
• Load and unload passengers; manage safety during loading and unloading.
• Communicate with faculty about field trips and schedule changes.
• Perform basic fleet maintenance and document mileage, fueling and maintenance.
