Job summary

A dedicated mental health service provider is seeking a part-time Mental Health Counselor in Staten Island, NY, to provide essential psychological support to students. In this role, you will deliver individual and group counseling, conduct assessments, and collaborate with teachers and parents to promote student mental health. Ideal candidates hold a NYS LMHC license, have relevant experience, and are comfortable working within the NYC DOE framework. The position offers around 5-15 hours per week at a rate of $75/hr.

Qualifications

• Must hold a NYS license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing psychological services.
• Must have NYC DOE fingerprinting and vendor status or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities
