Job summary

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) seeks a qualified full-time COTA to support students in a K–12 school setting under supervising OTR/L. You will provide individualized OT services, participate in IEP planning, and monitor progress to help students engage in academic and daily activities.

The role emphasizes collaboration with teachers, therapists, and families, with opportunities for professional growth, CEUs, licensure reimbursement, and a stable, school-aligned schedule.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Current state COTA license/certification (or eligibility; PDS will assist).
• NBCOT certification as a COTA.
• Previous experience in pediatric or school settings preferred, but new grads are welcome.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and collaborative skills.
• Commitment to student-centered practice and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, individualized OT services under supervision of a licensed OTR/L.
• Assist with evaluations, progress monitoring and reporting for IEP goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, families and school teams to integrate OT strategies.
• Support staff with adaptations to environment, curriculum, and tasks to reduce participation barriers.
• Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and support student success.
