Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to deliver comprehensive nursing care from birth onward, following nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. You will operate within policy frameworks and help coordinate care across the nursing team.

The role requires GA RN licensure, BLS, and potentially ACLS/PALS certifications within specified timeframes, with opportunity for professional growth in a diverse, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing. Required.
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible. Required.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• RN - Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Georgia. Required.
• BLS - Basic Life Support Required.
• ACLS certification within 180 days for some units; ED/PALS requirements as specified within addendum.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Maintain standards of practice and coordinate patient care activities for all assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.
