Qualifications

• Current license in New Jersey as RCP
• Associates Degree from an accredited CoARC program required
• RRT Certification required
• 3+ years work experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Great interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Provide primary supervision of students during clinical activities
• Act as a resource to students at all times and maintain two-way communications during shifts
• Use instructional methodology aligned with the learning model to develop employable skills for students
• Mentor and guide students of all levels to achieve their best
• Coordinate with St. Michael's Medical Center and YTI Respiratory Therapy program for student precepting
