Encompass Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide direct care using medical gas and breathing therapy modalities, while guiding patient assessments and developing personalized care plans. You will lead breathing treatments, address concerns, and build meaningful patient relationships to support recovery.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, collaboration with a motivated team, and ongoing professional growth within a national inpatient rehabilitation leader.

Qualifications

• Must have current state license in Respiratory Therapy.
• CPR certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.

Responsabilités

• Providing direct care to patients in need of medical gas, breathing therapy modality, and medication.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and breathing treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Formation

State License in Respiratory Therapy

CPR certification

ACLS certification preferred

Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred
