Job summary

Evolve Treatment Centers is seeking a Residential Chef for our Agoura Hills/Calabasas location. You will design weekly menus, shop for groceries, and prepare nutritious meals for six adolescent clients in a residential program.

The role requires at least 2 years of culinary experience, strong teamwork and communication, and the ability to maintain a clean, compliant kitchen. Hours are Monday to Friday, 10:00 am to 6:30 pm, with pay of $31–$33 per hour and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of culinary experience.
• Must be over the age of 21.
• Must be able to keep the kitchen clean, sanitary, and organized at all times.
• Must possess the ability to multi-task and coordinate productively with other team members.
• Must be punctual.
• Must understand the importance of working collaboratively with supervisors, management, and colleagues.
• Must exude a respectful and professional demeanor and demonstrate appropriate boundaries with clients.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside and report directly to Program Director
• Grocery shop for the week and create weekly menus to be approved by Program Director
• Put together healthy, nutritious, teen-friendly meals for 6 adolescent clients in residential treatment
• Prepare, plate, and serve morning and afternoon snacks, lunch, and dinner Monday – Friday
• Meal prep for the weekends
• Meet with clients upon admission to learn about client allergies, food restrictions, or preferences
• Meet with clients once weekly to review weekly menu
• Ensure kitchen is in compliance with accreditation, licensing, and program standards
• Manage a monthly budget for all food and culinary expenses
