Job summary

Evolve Treatment Centers in California seeks a dedicated Residential Chef for a teen-focused residential program in Agoura Hills and Calabasas. You will plan weekly menus, shop for groceries, and prepare healthy, teen-friendly meals for six clients while maintaining safety and budget compliance.

Responsibilities include serving meals, coordinating with the Program Director, and ensuring a clean, compliant kitchen. This role requires 2+ years of culinary experience and a professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of culinary experience.
• Must be over the age of 21.
• Must be able to keep the kitchen clean, sanitary, and organized at all times.
• Must possess the ability to multi-task and coordinate productively with other team members.
• Must be punctual.
• Must understand the importance of working collaboratively with supervisors, management, and colleagues.
• Must exude a respectful and professional demeanor and demonstrate appropriate boundaries with clients.

• Work alongside and report directly to Program Director.
• Grocery shop for the week and create weekly menus to be approved by Program Director.
• Put together healthy, nutritious, teen-friendly meals for 6 adolescent clients in residential treatment.
• Prepare, plate, and serve morning and afternoon snacks, lunch, and dinner Monday – Friday.
• Meal prep for the weekends.
• Meet with clients upon admission to learn about client allergies, food restrictions, or preferences.
• Meet with clients once weekly to review weekly menu.
• Ensure kitchen is in compliance with accreditation, licensing, and program standards.
• Manage a monthly budget for all food and culinary expenses.

Hours Monday - Friday 10 am - 6:30 pm

Payrate: $31 - $33/hour
