The attorney will collaborate with paralegals and attorneys, travel across Texas for court appearances, and uphold the firm’s standards of ethics and professionalism.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Bar License in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Ability to practice before EOIR Immigration Courts and USCIS.
• Strong knowledge of removal defense procedures, immigration statutes, and federal regulations.
• Excellent courtroom advocacy, legal writing, and research skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive defense strategies to protect clients from removal and pursue immigration relief.
• Represent clients in removal, asylum, and other immigration proceedings.
• Prepare clients for court appearances, testimony, and evidentiary hearings.
• Maintain proactive communication regarding case strategy, schedules, and risks.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate with the litigation team.
