Job summary

COUNTRY Financial is seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst in Bloomington, IL with a hybrid schedule. The role focuses on gathering data and preparing regulatory filings, including quarterly and annual statements and state filings.

You will prepare cash flow statements, disclosures, and schedules while ensuring data integrity. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of relevant experience, an accounting degree or CPA, and strong Excel skills with pivots and complex formulas.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.
• Accounting degree and/or CPA designation.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables and complex formulas.
• Self-motivated with strong critical-thinking and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Gathers data and prepares documents for regulatory filings (NAIC, Federal Reserve, FINRA).
• Prepares cash flow statements, supplemental schedules and disclosures.
• Ensures data integrity and works with auditors on reviews and filings.
• Coordinates with other departments to handle state filings.
• Maintains queries and worksheets to support financial statements and reports.
