Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• 60 college credits in Recreational Management, Kinesiology, Physical Education or related field required.
• At least 1 year of experience supervising recreation or leisure activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising the overall recreational program for the facility, including inmates/residents under security guidelines.
• Coordinate and supervise daily recreational and leisure activities per facility schedule (athletic games, print shop, craft shop, etc.).
• Maintain and conduct inventories of supplies, tools, and equipment; order replacements as needed and prepare equipment facilities.
• Ensure safety and sanitation of recreational areas and respond to incidents with required reports (safety, accidents, statistics).
