Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited university is required.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements or training for the subject and level assigned.
• Demonstrated competency in the academic subject area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction based on student needs through reading, language arts, and math strategies.
• Develop and implement lessons that meet district curriculum and Title I goals.
• Prepare lessons reflecting accommodations for different learning styles.
• Conduct assessments for diagnostic and progress monitoring purposes.
• Collaborate with other teachers to meet individual student needs.
