Job summary

Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis, MA is seeking a Radiation Therapist to deliver prescribed radiation treatments as part of a multidisciplinary Oncology team. You will operate linear accelerators and imaging equipment, assist with treatment planning, and ensure rigorous safety and documentation standards.

Requirements include ARRT certification, MA state license, 2+ years with ARIA, and BLS within 3 months. Per diem, hourly shifts, with rotating days and occasional weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
• Registered by the ARRT and licensed by the State of Massachusetts.
• Minimum two years’ experience with Aria or similar system.
• BLS required within 3 months and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Operates linear accelerators, KV machines, HDR units to deliver precise doses.
• Assists with treatment planning and simulations.
• Performs QA checks on treatment plans and machine safety.
• Schedules patients and coordinates with Oncology team.
• Maintains patient charts and billing documentation.
• Observes and reports treatment-related patient reactions.
