Job summary

AvaMed Workforce is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a full-time assignment at a skilled nursing facility in Stockton, CA. The role entails executing treatment plans under PT supervision and supporting patient progress.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans designed by PTs, including exercises, stretching, and gait/balance training.
• Observe, record, and report a patient's progress and response to treatment before, during, and after therapy.
• Use devices such as walkers, canes, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation to aid treatment.
• Instruct patients and family members on in-home exercises and wellness strategies.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant records of all treatment sessions and patient outcomes.
