Job summary

Proliance Surgeons in Renton, WA is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to support the physical therapy team in delivering high-quality care. The PTA will implement selected components of treatment under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, collect data, and adjust interventions to progress patients safely.

Key duties include assisting with tests and evaluations, providing therapeutic exercise and gait training, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited college is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Licensure by passing the NPTE is required.
• Ongoing continuing education as required by Washington state.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapist during tests and procedures.
• Collect clinical assessment scores and QoL data.
• Implement patient treatment plans under PT supervision.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility therapy.
• Instruct patients and caregivers in therapy techniques.
• Document patient progress per APTA and facility standards.
• Participate in staff meetings and training.
