Job summary

Behavioral Health Network (BHN) is seeking a Psychiatrist for its outpatient and emergency programs in Massachusetts. You will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, prescribe psychopharmacologic treatments, and collaborate with care teams and families.

Requirements include an MD/DO with psychiatry residency, MA medical license, and DEA registration. BHN offers generous PTO, 403(b), tuition reimbursement, and a competitive salary range of $175,000–$250,000 per year.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with Psychiatry residency completed.
• Massachusetts medical license required.
• DEA certificate required.
• Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration required.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to treat diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and clinical formulations.
• Evaluate and treat patients with psychopharmacologic interventions.
• Engage family members and collateral contacts in treatment planning.
• Produce timely clinical documentation and bill for services.
• Provide clinical supervision to psychiatric residents and support APRNs.
• Offer clinical consultation and guidance to APRNs.
• Participate in clinical team meetings and collaborate with care partners.
• Use agency technology and systems effectively to support teamwork and continuous improvement.
