Job summary

Executive Mental Health (EMH) is expanding with full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners to cover California, including the Los Angeles home office. NPs will support clinicians in providing care across SNFs and other settings, including face-to-face and remote interventions throughout the state.

The role emphasizes biopsychosocial care, collaboration with psychiatrists, and delivering high-quality mental health services to diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is required.
• Must be a registered nurse with CA NP license and ability to bill Medicare.
• PMHNP-BC or equivalent certification required.
• Experience in SNFs or elderly care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health assessments including medical and psychosocial history.
• Record symptoms and document findings.
• Physically examine patients and make diagnoses.
• Develop treatment plans including medications and therapies.
• Educate patients on healthy habits and disease prevention.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers.
• Order and interpret lab tests and monitor results.
• Follow up to assess treatment effectiveness.
