Job summary

MyCareer+ is seeking a hands-on Property Manager to oversee an affordable housing portfolio in Atlanta. You will manage operations, leasing, compliance, vendor relations, and resident communications to ensure high-quality housing and a positive resident experience.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of direct property management experience, familiarity with affordable housing or voucher programs, and experience with AppFolio.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of direct property management experience.
• Experience managing affordable housing, voucher programs, or compliance-heavy portfolios preferred.
• Experience with AppFolio or similar property management software preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organization, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive, collaborative, and hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance requests, vendors, repairs, and preventive maintenance across the portfolio.
• Communicate with residents regarding maintenance schedules, timelines, and updates.
• Track work orders through completion and verify repairs.
• Conduct quarterly property walkthroughs and monitor property conditions.
• Serve as the primary coordinator for after-hours maintenance emergencies.
• Develop and maintain a network of affordable, high-quality vendors.
