Job summary

A New Leaf, Inc. seeks a Program Director to lead the Mesa Community Action Network (MesaCAN) and related programs. The role directs program operations, staff leadership, fiscal stewardship, grant compliance, and partnerships to advance the agency's mission and strategic priorities.

The Director will oversee budgets, governance support to the MesaCAN Tripartite Board, and ensure high-quality service delivery while coordinating with funding partners and community stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Requires five years of progressively responsible leadership experience in community action, human services, nonprofit management, or related field.
  • Requires three years of experience supervising staff.
  • Experience administering federally/state-funded grants, contracts, and programs with budget oversight and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for MesaCAN programs.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate program goals aligning with agency priorities.
  • Lead development and evaluation of new programs in response to community needs.
  • Recruit, hire, supervise, coach, and develop staff with a culture of accountability.
  • Manage program budgets and oversee grant administration and compliance.
