Job summary

ABB in the United States is seeking a Process Quality Technician to ensure product quality and process capability within the local manufacturing line. You will conduct test protocols, collect data, and support continuous improvement initiatives to meet customer and ABB requirements.

As part of the Quality Control team, you will train operators on basic quality test routines, utilize data to verify compliance, and help verify quality-at-source processes in a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office and Excel.
• Experience in manufacturing quality control is preferred.
• Familiarity with data analysis and quality test protocols is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Test protocols are conducted to ensure products and systems meet specified requirements and customer expectations.
• Ensure safety by following safety systems and notifying others of unsafe conditions, coordinating with HSE teams.
• Collaborate with department staff to improve test protocols and capability for better efficiency and reliability.
• Evaluate data to describe conformity to requirements using quantitative metrics.
• Train operators in basic quality test routines and verify QA testing as part of the value creation process.
