Job summary

Medical City Arlington is seeking a Respiratory Care Specialist PRN to support clinical care across our hospital services. You will perform limited respiratory care as directed by physicians and help maintain respiratory therapy equipment according to standards.

Qualified candidates are in the 2nd year of a Respiratory Care program, with BCLS within 30 days of start, and a HS/GED or higher. Vocational/associate degree holders are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must be in 2nd year of Respiratory Care program.
• Initial and semi-annual verification of student status.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• High School Graduate / GED or higher.
• Vocational School Graduate or Associate Degree.

Responsibilities

• Provides limited respiratory care to patients as ordered by physicians.
• Cleans, disinfects and stores respiratory therapy equipment and supplies.

Education

2nd year Respiratory Care program

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days

High School Graduate / GED

Vocational School Graduate or Associate Degree
