Job summary

Physician Care Centers (PCC) is seeking a Board-certified or eligible Physician – Primary Care in San Antonio, TX. This full-time role focuses on comprehensive, patient-centered care across the lifespan within a collaborative team.

The physician will diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, provide preventive services, coordinate referrals, and supervise NPs and PAs while ensuring thorough EHR documentation and adherence to clinical guidelines.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine completed.
• Board certification or eligibility in Family/Interior Medicine.
• DEA registration.
• BLS; ACLS may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive history and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests including labs, imaging, and EKGs.
• Prescribe medications per regulations.
• Provide preventive care including screenings and immunizations.
• Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension.
• Coordinate referrals and supervise care team.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and population health.
• Comply with clinical guidelines and policies.
