Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians (HMFP) at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) – Longwood Specialty Physicians is seeking a physician to provide the full scope of primary care services to patients in BILHPC practices. The physician focus may be internal medicine or family medicine, in an employment model with HMFP and BIDMC collaboration for research, education, and patient care excellence.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Obtain health history and perform physical examinations utilizing medical instruments and equipment.
• Order or execute various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on a patient’s condition.
• Analyze reports and findings of tests and examinations, and diagnose condition of patient.
• Accurately diagnose and treat a wide-range of acute and chronic diseases and injuries
• Administer or prescribe treatments and medications appropriate to a patient’s diagnosis.
• Prescribe medications in accordance with state and federal statutes and professional practice guidelines.
• Promote health by advising patients concerning diet, hygiene, and methods for prevention of disease.
• Prepare records and reports as required in support of services rendered in accordance with established procedures.
• Counsel patient and, if appropriate, family on diagnosis and treatment plans to ensure understanding and follow-through.
• Participate in peer review, quality assurance, provider meetings, and other clinical meetings.
• Make referrals to specialists when appropriate for a patient's condition and treatment.
• Support BIDHC culture and promote team-based delivery of patient care.
