Qualifications

• EDUCATION: Associate’s degree
• EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: At least two (2) years’ experience working with or within criminal justice, judicial and/or legal systems
• Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: Additional relevant work experience may be substituted for the degree on a year-for- year basis.
• Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: High school diploma and 3 years job related experience.

Responsibilities

• Review arrested individuals to determine eligibility for pretrial release.
• Conduct initial defendant interviews within 24 hours of jail booking.
• Review case history and risk assessment scores for pretrial release eligibility.
• Supervise defendants on Monitored Release and monitor compliance with programs.
• Enter data into PRETrial Release Management (PRIM) system.
• Travel to counties for meetings, trainings and workshops.
