Qualifications

• Indiana teaching license or license in another state with ability to obtain Indiana license.
• Degree in teaching content area with ability to obtain Indiana license.
• Alternatives may be considered by Administration.

Responsibilities

• Teaches Special Education courses per Indiana Academic Standards.
• Plans and implements lesson plans based on objectives and student needs.
• Maintains safe, inviting instructional environment and appropriate materials.
• Coordinates activities with other staff to maximize learning opportunities.
• Assesses student achievement and documents progress for reporting.
• Maintains positive relationships with students, parents and peers.
• Participates in professional development and faculty meetings.
• Performs related duties as assigned by the Principal.
