Job summary

Barnard College is seeking a Manager of Planned Giving Operations to lead the end-to-end lifecycle of deferred gifts, ensure data integrity, and maintain policy compliance across jurisdictions. The role works closely with Advancement, Finance, and external partners to optimize the program’s efficiency.

You will supervise student staff, manage vendor relationships, and support audits while upholding CASE standards and confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Three to five years of related experience, preferably in an academic setting.
  • Familiarity with planned giving industry, CASE standards, and government regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the Planned Giving operational calendar and coordinate gift annuity state filing and compliance.
  • Oversee the estate and life income gifts data in CRM and prepare gift booking forms.
  • Collaborate with Advancement Services, Finance, and external partners; oversee CGA reporting and asset transfers.
  • Lead internal and external financial audits and synthesize gift data for leadership and regulatory bodies.
  • Manage estates and life income gifts documentation to align with CASE standards and regulations.
  • Provide logistical support for meetings and events and supervise Barnard students in the office.
