Confidential Employer in Montvale, NJ seeks an experienced employment litigation attorney to represent employees from intake through resolution.

NJ Bar license required; 2+ years of plaintiff or defense employment litigation experience. You will draft filings, manage discovery, negotiate settlements, and advise clients.

The position offers a salary range of $100,000 to $175,000 per year with on-site work and increasing hybrid flexibility for experienced attorneys.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Bar license required.
• 2+ years of employment litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent negotiation and courtroom advocacy abilities.
• Experience managing litigation matters with minimal supervision.
• Outstanding communication and client relationship skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Plaintiff-side employment law experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Represent employees in employment litigation matters from initial consultation through resolution.
• Evaluate potential claims and develop litigation strategies.
• Draft complaints, motions, discovery, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex employment law issues.
• Manage discovery, depositions, negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and litigation proceedings.
• Counsel clients regarding their legal rights and strategic options.
• Negotiate favorable settlements while preparing cases for litigation when necessary.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to achieve outstanding client outcomes.
• Stay current on developments in employment law and litigation strategy.
