Qualifications

• Must be certified in Basic Life Support, Basic First Aid and Emergency Oxygen.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Approved national Personal Trainer Instructor certification is required.
• Must maintain current certifications in first aid and personal training.
• Required to lift excessive weight (minimum of 50 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Design and administer personalized fitness training programs.
• Administer health risk appraisals and fitness assessments.
• Maintain record keeping of trainees and incident reports.
• Communicate with members and handle their concerns effectively.
• Support the Y's mission through positive member relationships.
