Job summary

Precision HR Solutions, Inc. in Monroeville, PA is seeking a Personal Care Assistant/Teacher's Aide for full-time, temp-to-perm work in a school setting.

You will support students with special needs under the classroom teacher, with duties including instructional reinforcement, supervision, personal care, and basic classroom tasks. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00am to 3:30pm, at $18 per hour, paid weekly.

Qualifications

• Must have some related experience working with children, special needs, teacher's assistant, home health aide, personal care assistant, nursing home, daycare, or other related work.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional reinforcement for individual students or small groups of students
• Assist teacher with classroom management and general supervision of the class
• Attend to students' physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs
• Assist with administrative duties such as setting up equipment and preparing materials
• Supervise students in the cafeteria, schoolyard, specials, hallways, on field trips, and/or during before and after school programs
