Job summary

Monte Nido Vista in Agoura Hills, CA is seeking a part-time Primary Therapist to join a multidisciplinary treatment team for adults with eating disorders. You will provide individual, group, and family therapy and collaborate with outpatient providers to support recovery.

The role involves therapeutic meal support, discharge planning, and coordination with insurance for pre-certification, with a focus on compassionate, evidence-based care and DEI principles.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in clinical counseling or related discipline is required.
• State license (or license-eligible) in a counseling field (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC).
• Prior experience with eating disorders and higher levels of care is helpful.
• Knowledge of diversity, equity and inclusion practices.

Responsibilities

• Providing individual, group, and family therapy.
• Serving as liaison with families and outpatient providers.
• Interact with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management.
• Participating in discharge and aftercare planning.
• Therapeutic meal support, while modeling a healthy relationship with food.
• Provides safe, empathetic, and affirming care for each client and their unique circumstance based on the clients' intersecting identities.
